The Center for Business and Regulation of the College of Business and Management at the University of Illinois-Springfield is hosting a two-day event in Chicago on January 12-13, 2017. The title of the program is “Frameworks for Regulation of Public Utilities in the 21st Century. The program will be held at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in the River North area of downtown Chicago.
Former Illinois Commerce Commission member Karl McDermott is Director of the Center for Business and Regulation. Among the speakers at the event are Anne Pramaggiore, President and CEO of Commonwealth Edison Company, and Brien Sheahan, Chairman of the Illinois Commerce Commission.
